Semiya is my favorite for breakfast on a busy day. It tastes yummy, easy to cook and looks great too!!! kids will love this.
Heat 2ts of oil in non stick pan and add cumin + mustard + chana + moong dal+pea nuts+ red chili and wait until they splutter. Add onions, green chili, Garlic and saute until they the onions become transparent. Add turmeric and cook for few min and add green peas, carrot and saute until they are well cooked in medium flame. Now add salt to taste and add 1 3/4 cup of water and let the mixture come to boil. Then add 1 cup of vermicelli and mix well. constantly keep stirring under medium flame. when the mixture is well cooked add cilantro and turn off the stove. serve with lemon pickle or lime juice.
